My new pimped van.

Introduction

Well there's only pics of the outside, not got any pics of inside yet; it was too dark to get good ones when i got it back but has deep pile carpets, custom lighting, 5 leather seats, big flat screen TV, Sony Xplode subs (x4), PS2 etc. Has had extra windows fitted behind the sliding doors (has sliding doors on both sides)

Its a vito travelliner 112 cdi (2003), 5 speed manual. Has full stainless exhaust with decat, told it has performance panel filter but not checked - apparently its about 135bhp but got nought to back that - tbh don't know what a standard 112cdi puts out but it pulls well and is similar sorta speed to the stilo (1.9jtd 115) which is plenty fast for a van in my opinion. Wheels are genuine AMG 18" (believe from the new E-class but not sure).

well here's the pics.

Opinions, comments and questions welcome.
well if you meet someone who can read german ad translate it properly your away lol.

Dropping the van off this evening - they got a cancellation so might be able to fit it in 2moro or its gonna be early next week. Meh, tbh i'm not bothered, picking up another fiat on Saturday so i'm all excited about that at the mo. Will be nice to come home to a van that isn't knocking at the front and is lowered as well though. (y)

right, just for a comparison in height.. old pic of before:

edit: i shall clean it and upload some decent pictures soon, will be next week sometime ;)

Agreed..
I'm gonna leave the outside alone for a bit now, although there is still stuff i want to do to it externally still. Next on the van will be the inside done properly - i ended up whacking all the stereo back in in a hurry as i was going away for the weekend in the van so just has an ikea sofa bed in it and an untrimmed subox atm. I will be buying a metal framed double pull out bed that bolts down properly and has seatbelts for the rear and rebuilding the sub-box to make a bit more space inside. The wish list for the van is getting very long lol.

Priorities have moved a little now i have bought the Punto however, i need to get the cinq sorted asap now as its provisionally sold. After that i will need to decide what to do next, sort the sei, spend some money on the new punto, or finish the van interior. Whatever happens, i'll keep you all posted ;)

I haven't wanted a van as much as when first saw the A Team! :D Nows there's a styling idea! Just kiddin, your van is amazing I just dont know where you get the time to maintain such an immacualte looking fleet! Fair play to I can just imagine the time you have invested let alone the money.

Lol, i generally don't - think they may have all been on the road legal, insured etc at the same time once or maybe twice. I drive the van and my punto regularly atm - Stilo is used for work but i'm selling that soon, after the project we're working on at work right now. And the cinq is going shortly i hope. I just can't help myself, i just buy cars when i have money in the bank when what i should really do is finish the ones i have..

So my insurance renewal is up shortly..

I seem to struggle, alot, with getting people to even quote on the van due to its modifications.. Which is completely ridiculous as far as i'm concerned, its hardly that modded..

So currently with CVD (commercial vehicle direct) but only because they were the only peole who i could get to quote last year.. Anyone tried insuring a modified van before?? any suggestions??

Looks sweet man,
Ill have a chat to my neighbour, he was running a merc vito sport a few months back that was heavily modded, up rated turbo, remaps and AM intercooler and silicone piping. I seem to recall it being seriously low too.

Love the wheels, I reckon some 18s or 19s would really suit that. fill the arches a bit more :)

Cheers
Tom

The wheels i have are only available in 19" if you get genuine AMG wheels lol - mine are cheapy replicas, well i use the word cheap loosely.

As it is, the rolling radius is just about bang on stock with this wheel and tyre combination, i agree bigger might look a little better but i don't want (and might strruggle to find) tyres with a lower profile that are safe to fit on a 2.7 tonne van

just a couple of quick cheeky pics of it parked over a small hump.. looks well good parked there :)
Oh and my last post... its 1.7tonnes not 2.7 lol

Updates? Nothing really, just done service and he is running very smooth and nicely now. Has had new engine flushed, fresh oil & filter, new air filter, diesel filter and checked loads of stuff. All looks good but front brakes are getting quite low so it maybe 4pot brembo time some :)

Cheers matey :)
Its not catching, can just about get your toes under the edge ;)

Got the dics and pads for the new brakes recently, van is hopefully getting brackets for the calipers made up next week.

discs are f'ing HUGE! still not sure if the brakes will fit inside the wheels but we'll see soon enough, its gonna be close!

They look like something I would eat off! Theyre frigging massive, (or youve got really small feet ;) ).

I reckon some dished Bmw/BBS reps would look good on that?
Keep up the good work dude :D
