My new exhaust, makes the car sound just a little meaner without the boy racer sound effects.

You like ?

Looks nice (y)

Did they have to cut your bumper a little bit cuz it looks like the pipe goes slightly into it, or is it just the angle of the picture ?

I was about to ask the same question...
Lookin good man, not a bad start. (y)

The work was done by http://www.exhaustuk.co.uk/ and cost £149.00 inc VAT and fitting. I had a choice of tail pipes and sounds ... I went for the more civilised sound (which is still louder than standard obviously)

They took the about 1" out of the under side of the bumper in an oval shape to get it to fit nice and flush and I think they made a good job - there is about 2-3mm above the tail pipe and its fitted to the standard rubbers.

I assume when MOT time comes this wont make a difference to the emissions

I would have liked the Super sprint exhaust ... but I have a wedding to save for so this seemed a good compromise.

Could they not just drop it bellow the bumper then, instead of cutting it out ?

It seams a bit drastic to cut into the bumper if there was no real need

Maybe .... Again the pic makes it look more drastic than it really is. It does look better this way (I played around with the tail pipe before fitting it)

If I ever need to put another exhaust on I dont think it would be too hard to repair. Its kinda up and under if you know what I mean.

It looks cool though mate, rather than sitting an inch or so lower than it is now it's probably a good thing to have the bumper cut out as long as you intend to keep that style.
I was totally against them cutting out my bumper to fit mine, scared the crap out of me just thinking about it :)

So good on you for doing it ;)

Aye ... Bennyboy car does feel a little bit more fruity round the edges :D

Koarang - Yeah it scared the crap out of me too .. I'm happy to say it turned out well ... I think the oval shape suits the Stilos rounded lines.

I have been out to the car a couple of times tonight inspecting the bumper to see how it would look if I went back to a standard exhaust, (Not that thats going to happen) I dont think you would really see it unless you were looking for it and even then you would need to be crouched down (as I was in the first pic, you can see my wide arsed shadow  ).

Cutting my beloved upsets me aplenty .... But I know a good body shop guy if it all went wrong (y)

I'll take a pic of the whole Rear of the car Tomoz and post :)
