Question for you Shelly, Did you nether regions get even slightly moist when the whippersnapper was driving like a lunactic? And were all the guys standing around not laughing when he hit the curb?

I think the answers are no and yes so anyone thinking that driving liek that is cool to other blokes and turns birds on is so wrong.

Apart from the beer talk, why is this thread getting over a 100 replies?

without the beer talk it would die out...so i might start a thread dedicated to beer

No comment on beer, I didn't like it even when I did drink :p. As for the original topic, what a numpty. I hope no-one here needs to learn a lesson but I've learned it's no good telling people these stories in order to teach them something because they think they are god and it will never happen to them. The only way they learn is when it does happen to them and they are seriously injured and even then it's usually 'someone elses fault'.

Ok, I see that this thread has turned into the ritual humiliation of somebody who has dared to do something stupid.

Most likely the lower suspention arm cracked/broke causing the steering loss, which could have been caused by many different factors. Although probably induced by wreckless driving in public car parks etc... In many ways it was unlucky it happened on the road, as it'd probably have caused less damage to the car in a car park (exept perhaps for the close proximity of the people enjoying the action)

And just before you all have a go at me... I don't particularly like cruises, or some of the people who go to them, nor do I go to them, my car isn't 'barry', and burberry isn't my favourite brand for hats. But each to their own, and anyway who hasn't done a cheaky hand break turn in a slipery car park when all is quiet and nobodys looking?

Shelly: Hope your mates car gets fixed soon, and nobody was hurt.

]Last nite I was at the cruise-herts usual thursday meet and some of my other mates came down to it and decided to do handbreaks[/b] everything was goin smooth we went and got some petrol came back started again. Well we were doin fine until the steerin stopped workin and we ended up mounting a Kirb at 60 the splitter fell off, then the radiator blew, then the 2 air bags popped open and the windscreen caved in!
You may think you know ure car well enuf to do stunts...but the lesson learned think twice before you do anythin. He has learnt a hard lesson from this as his car was his pride and joy! Luckily it shudnt b too long before its all fixed but still we need to think more peeps.
I am sorry but I am one of the older people on here and I find it hard to under stand the comments about lower intellegent people doing this etc I know people that in their 3rd year of uni and others with 1st class degrees who participate in these type of functions so the people that put it down to the lesser intellegent are just showing what they really are bl**dy snobs.

This was at an organised cruise so highly unlikely to have been on the puplic highway and all those I have been to and told about are usually well organised to avoid that much trouble with the please.

And what I have read on here the members are not to prone to prove there cars to other members when they meet up, so what is the difference?

but no uni can teach common sence

Ah are we really going to have to argue the definition of "intelligence" by intelligence I think myself and any others who used it meant the group of intelligences such as common sense, inititive etc. etc.

anyone who does it are dumb f*ckers and should be locked away.....
