i reckon a matte black would look better in an interior- gives it a more expensive feel- shiny blackcould make it look naff like those interior and dashboard cleaners that contain silicone...

gota say u done a quailty job of it! i jus bin doin mine and as much as people say red is a dodgie colour my cars red so da interior matches da car!:
just 1 question on ures how did u get away with not spraying the picture bits above the 3 dials like the heater pictures and dat coz i jus smoothed mine in but im not happy with it!

well i just sprayed my centre console yest and it looks ****ing wicked.. i will be puting pics up very very soon guys... and i ad the lil pics as well.. you mean like where it as the fan switch and it as 1 2 3 4...
you can take that bit off the back but for some reason mine didnt come off yest so i just tapped it up and used a knife to push the tapes away from where i wanted to spray if u get me lol
I av now sprayed my centre console, the front pillars, the speedo console and the cd player bit (lol i cant memba the name).

hehe same idea as me, im going for a 2 tone though. Ive done the centre console blue, door handles blue ect and im gonna do my main dash black. How did you get the door cards off, mine get stuck on the window winder and i cant work out how it comes off!! any help appreciated!

i avent taken my door cards off yet but you will need to take off the window winder to get them off

No my door cards are hald fabric(to stay as it is) half plastic(to be black) then theres the inside handle(to be blue) the handle to open it and surround (Blue) the window winder(to be blue) then the holder thing at the bottom (to be Black) still need to get the window winders off though. Will do some more at the weekend and take some pictures then!
run out of paint! car plastics are in pieces in the garage. couple of coats of lacquer on some bits is done, get some more paint and finish the bits off.
How difficult is it to take the main dash out, its the only bit I havnt attempted to remove yet. or done the front pillars, and havn't even started at the back. for my 3rd brake light fitted to bottom of rear window andmy While LED sidelight bulbs and white LED window washers. the jets are fantastic! way better than the standard ones. will get soem pictures takeon on saturday when hopefully ill have it all back together!
be up late again tonight!

yer da 1,2,3 bits is what i ment lol
mines all primered but no im havin thoughts of maybe cutting out the vents and putting my cd player where the vents where, friend of mine done it on his and looks great!

looks really good in red! ill take some pics of mine tomorrow, gonna go get the main dash out an pray it tonight, Ill have to see about the bits round the door too! you got the the back of the car yet? gonna d the back of mine to match the front.
Well this is my intrior so far, im waitng on the M3 baseplates to put my mirrors on and i didnt hanage to get the dash out due to the fact the the ventilation system seems to be glued to it and wulodnt budge plus i hant worked out how to get the steering wheel off and wiper and inricator stalks, im sure it would comeout much easier if i did. anyways, let me know what ya think

Jay bit off the subject but where did you get those car mats?

The blue is plasticote royal blue, code 640 i think. The black was a satin finish halfords own but ive laquered it for the gloss effect.
The mats came from this awesome shop we have in preston called Big D got loads of cheap car bits, like LED 3rd brake lights for £3.99, loads of waxing products and stuff its well good! hehe . They cost me £5.50
sweet ey! Ive seen similar ones in £stretcher and in tesco's and halfords though.Taken most of the blue bits out again to re laquer them, done my sun visors too, they look really cool. done the front speaker pod's blue too, hopefully gonna do the dash tonight if i can get the steering wheel off.
