Styling my interior

that only happens if it has not been done properly...make sure the surface is clean and been sanded well enough.... then after about 2-3 coats of paint... make sure it is laquered...

most of the time it depends on what type of paint you use... the first one i had flaked in the bends of the surface (even after full preparation)... then i switched to a flexible spray, and since then no flakes....

hope this helps....

btw dont be put of by the idea, because if you make a mistake you can always remove the paint and try again...

he didnt sand it...

someone mentioned fibreglassing it to me aswell, anyone know this method?

sanding makes a big difference.... if the surface is greasy of not properly textured it will flake of no matter how much laquer is put on....

not 100% sure about the colour, but looks like its went well imo. I want to do mine to my mk1 60 on the weekend.

actually that colour in the pic, is not what is really in the car...
1) the camera is **** and the colour seems too bold..
2) i have scince then put new colour on it is a better blue and looks loads better..

nope that is the only thing in my car that is not sprayed... and i don't intend to because iam getting a BOSS steering wheel soon so no need....:devil:

going to put up new pics soon keep a eye out...

the steering wheel is actually standard grey, i just have a wheel cover on it black with blue patches that match the blue paint on the interior.....

it looks black because my camera is crap... i will take some better pics on my sisters camera tomoz.... should show up better.....

anyway i dont think spraying a steering wheel is a good idea, as your hands are constantly there are the paint will fade or rub of very quick.... but you could give it a try and let us know how it goes... might do it too till i get my BOSS wheel.....

yep but the funny thing is tho iam getting a bit sick of this black, i love the blue but the balck is starting to get on my nerves... not sure why

nah just the front, not had time to do the back as most the peices are hard to get of for spraying....

lol yeah ya gotta take the seats out and then tke everything out in order then put it back in order! lol mines mostly painted and laquered now, just waiting for me new speakers to install then ill be puttin it back together and post some piccies to see waht you guys rekon to a blue/black back!

woo yeah back is all blacked now!! new 6x9's in the passenger rear. now the bass shakes my wing mirrors hehe!! still needs a sub though and gonna get more speakers in the doors when i get GTdoor cards. look ace, sounds ace! Really need a black cover or some GT rear seats though cos it looks awful with the blue cloth

IMO you the inside looks good, you should work on the outside, change the white to something more stylish, go silver or navy blue.

who's car are you on about here, the white one is B.O.S.S's which i assume you are taking about, but theres interior pics of both his mine and R12MUS's.....
