welltook it to fiat, aparently its a fault with the resistor near the fan or something, they want £105 to fix.


is this just a fiat job or can i get it done on the cheep?:(

get it done on the cheap mate.

get fiats report and then speak to an auto sparky, bet itll cost half that.....

If you know which part they're on about, you could try and find one at a scrappy. But I've just looked it up in my Haynes manual (for my 1.6), and although it doesn't mention the resisitor specifically, it looks like it could be a little complex, therefore a job for a pro

k well i just picked it up from garage and its a fan resistor

part number : s1736774 or 517367774

not sure if it was a 5 or an s , bloody pikeys


they wanted 105 quid +vat to replace it


the part itself is 12.27+ vat so 15 quid for it and anyone wanna help me fix my car....pleaseeeeeeeee

How hard can it be! lol.

Maybe you should invest in a Haynes Manual for an HGT mate? Would save you money in this one job alone (if this part is in it)
