Thought you were going the original colour?

However that should make a really nice contrast if you'r engine is brightly coloured with lots of shiny bits. :D

It's going to be interesting to see who ends up with the smoothest and most shiny bay between you and Whitz. Nothing like a bit of friendly competition to keep each other motivated. :)

Are you two going to try and fit the heater box inside somewhere, or do without it?

Could have left it in, but make a nice shiny plate in place of the fluffy sound insulation stuff, and route the pipes out of the bottom instead of the side/front.

Prefer the grey to the blue unless you're repainting the whole car chap. It's a really nice colour but I can't see it working with the green.
Grey however is very tasty indeed. :D

Love those plates Whitz but how about some stainless dome head bolts rather than the lockers on the pedal plate. You can always use threadlock if you're worried about them shaking lose.

Your most certainly putting in some effort !!! 10/10 for that alone . (y)

nice work BUT id highly advise not to fill in around the strut tops where it sits onto the inner wings and the step next to the battery tray as with flex the filler will more then likely crack

also i used fiber glass filler with a smaller skim of p40 as if damaged it hold up better

I was on my journeys today and a saw a new ford ka in pearl white so that got me thing king a deep pearl white engine bay ?

Good luck keeping that clean, although I sure it would look tasty. I've never owned one of the 16v engines but if it's anything like an 8v if oil stops leaking out of it, there's none in it. :D
