so here goes, my first members thread..

Well i got the car in january of last year, after having a nissan micra, 2 vauxhall corsa's and a peugeot 306, i needed a change, so i went down to the dealership and forked out for this.

there she/he stood. The newest car iv owned.

So i immediatly washed it, which didnt turn out like i expected, i expected that glossy look, the look that water beads on ect but i got this...




Next a few months after i went about lowering it. I lowered it on cheapo ebay springs... bad move.. looked ok but ride was harsh



so thats where im up to, apart from some interior mods and my exhaust.

i do have plans tho ..


Plans

• Abarth/Sporting headlights and fogs
• 'induction' kit (purely for the noise)
• Exhaust
• New alloys
• Tinting
• ICE
• and a surprise

Looks good mate, how far have you lowered it? Is the last picture with it lowered? Still looks high

trust me from standard its lowered.. it was only 40 mil on cheap springs, and as my wheels are 15's too makes it worse

Hmmm I've got the exact same car it's not lowered and it looks the same height as yours now, maybe give it time to settle in ?

Hmmm i see :-/ strange, I was gonna get mine lowered 40mm all round but don't think ill bother now :-/

I can confirm for lou5590 that it is lower than standard regardless of that picture, I've seen his car at the NWICC trafford meet
you would see more of a 'drop' at the front because of the weight of the engine. the backs are a pain for not dropping allot.

what where these cheapo springs btw? LOsuspension?

i think so, i didnt have much money but needed new springs for the mot so stupidly got the cheapest ones... bad move...

while im getting my head around this wireing lark, im also thinking of an outlandish coulour for my mirror caps, i dont want black wheels, too muchly overdone, i dont want grey or anthricite, again too muchly overdone. im thinking white wheels, white mirror caps, white wrapped roof? or something even bette... lime green wheels, lime green mirror caps carbon roof wrap... choices choices choices

Tangerine orange for wheels and mirror caps Kawasaki green is overly done IMO. I'm hoping to do red alloys + caps soon. Already got my caps done, just looking for wheels currently.
