but yes i checked before i came out and it was a bit above minimum.

bit above min isnt good was damp this morning though very damp so steam out exhaust could be just damp in side it

well i wasnt driving it until about 4.30 so it wasnt damp out
you've all made me worried now
saying headgasket thought be just water pump that is, all be fine lol.what could be banging then? i dont think its the exhaust but could be but iv tried shaking/moving it by hand and seems solid.
can hear the banging in this vid which my mate took on the way home being towed hehe-

core plugs?
then it definately could be the water pump. it the water was coming from behind the cambelt cover then it does look like its the waterpump gasket, in which case the repair wont cost much.

well its hopefully being picked up soon
just let garage sort it still going to need to find out why its misfiring, i presume its plugs, leads, lambda sensor, or coil packs.
got new leads coming, was doing plugs anyway, so il see if that sorts it, but it was only when warm so that leads to lambda i think.

I'd second that my Alfa didn't like being stood 2 months started spluttering and tapping. So I gave it a nice 40miles B road hammering

well i was thrashing it about for the 18 miles i was on the road, and it still misfired.
will it be 25 miles tomorrow?
or did you drive it for 11 then thrash it for another 18?
