Hi all,
my car seems to have a prob!! on newyears eve when tesco was so busy we wer in a que getting out of the carpark when the cooling fan on the rad burned out! so we had to wait for it all to cool down got home ok. last week whet to warm up car befor going out but when i started the car and shut the door to get snow off windows the car locked it selff with engine running getting warmer the prob here was we had not got the new fan yet!! so the car got hotter and hotter we could not find any way of stoping it, it was to late as coolant and steem started comming out under the car... so had to brake window to switch it off,
anyway got new fan motor and new 40A fuse but the fan don't come on when it gets up to temp iv changed the fan thermoswitch as well. the only way i can stop the car getting over heated is having the fans and heat on full in the car that bit works well!! if i turn the heating off in the car the car over heats with in minutes.
any idears???
