i no ive brought this subject up before, but now i need to no how much RAM my motherboard can hold?

i cant find the user manual anywhere so is there any other possible way? maybe somebody has got a manual?

my computer is a Emachines 130DVD

sorry one last thing would mine hold DDR RAM??

thanks alot kris

I just looked on the Crucial configurator as well, and machine not listed - it seems to be 150 model up.

What do you use your PC for? Even a 128Mb upgrade is poor.

at the moment ive got 256 of RAM.

i was thinking of buying a new computer (to a brand that can easily be upgraded) but looking round £100 couldnt get me much. also i dont have a clue how i can get all my old memory onto a new comp :(

i mainly use my computer for the web and msn, but i do want something i can use online games on etc...

cheers kris

ok maybe i mis - led you, when i meant online gaming i meant like once a week, i would mainly just be playing on games such as generals, and age of empires 3.

thanks kris

Doesn't matter how often you're on it! Still needs the same amount of grunt.

For about £200-300 you could get a decent machine, using some parts from your current i.e. screen, keyboard, mouse, hdd, floppy, optical. Just need new mobo, memory, processor and gfx card.
