been having all same problems as this tried all surgested things except change browser, i thought it must be my isp i am on virgin.net broad band what you on ?
an alternative to opera is firefox, more customisable and v.fast.i used opera till my uni site decidedc they didnt support opera and told me so on every page i visited
Tbh, I was running both IE and Opera at home, but now back on IE really - never had any problems with it.
Plus a big factor is the integration of eBay toolbar - the amount of stuff Jules monitors on there, with watch alerts, account guard etc [don't forget, my home PC is on all the time, but a non-techie person is using it all day, so have to make it foolproof to a degree] - Opera will not seem to integrate it, though, so for now, IE for me.
yeah i keep IE on my PC for office/Xp updates, damn MS wont accept other browsers.one of the main reasons for me is to avoid all the spyware aimed at IE
