My 1st Mod that I can't get slated about!!

Ok.. i might with how i did it.. but not with the idea!!

I printed off the guide, followed it.. then realised it was wrong!

So I did it Tommy K style

1) Take 1 bravo

2) Remove the light

3) Spend 10mins removeing all the induction pipes, wires, battery waires and arse about with that stoopid plastic cover!

4) Find the Gray & Black wire identifyed in the fitting guide

5) Take the side light outta 1 of ur newly purchased lights and give it a try

6) Find out its the wrong wire, tape it all back up.. and decide to do it Tommy K Style

7) Turn the side lights on.. keep sticking the wire in the plug untill it lights up, connect up to that wire by the plug (number 3 wire live "brown/yellow", number 1 earth)

8) Plug it all together and give it a try

9) Repeat process on the other side. 1st side took 30mins, 2nd side about 10mins

It took about 5 goes to get the hazard light to be on in that pic.. so admire it for awhile please!

mine is pretty much exactly the same mate, warts and all!!!!!!

and its not the first, its the second or possibly third mate!

think about it, you have your turbo timer, ur bed was inspired imo and now ur poly's.

ok.. mods to date.

1) Bed Boot Conversion (curently not installed)
2) Turbo timer
3) White wheels
4) Police siren
5) Amber flashing light (currently not installed)
6) Ipod-MD-Phone AUX on radio
7) 4 6x9's & sub (currently not installed)
8) New Lights

outta that 2 maybe 3 can be seen as "worth-while" mods

The lights are great tho! just been out with them.. and they are much brighter than the normal ones.


Lights came from a loacal scrappy... when for a wheel hub... came back with lights £100 which didn't seem too bad??

see your not doing that bad, just get ur sub and 6 x 9's back in and all will be good mate

think you may have paid slightly too much for the lights imo, but you are happy which is the main thing, i paid 20 for mine btw... told the guy they were out of a bravo mind
