Top Rubber Mounts. £26.84 for a pair from www.eurocarparts.com

No mate they are what they call births .I have a pair of new ones already £9.50 each..The bit I want is like a rubber cups sits on top of the spring ..I have seen them advertised but they were in a kit but Ive got all the bits bar them

Never heard of a birth! that is very odd.

I think its the manufacturers name .Anyway its not the part I require ..Its either that or a spring lifting kit

Never heard any part of a car called a birth either, not important.

I think what you need is this: Item 4 in the diagram. See EPer at the top of this page, follow to Multipla and look at section 44301 to confirm.

Second pic comes from this web page: http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/fiat/7602150yyq.html

This lists lots of aftermarket suppliers part numbers, so should be available through motor factors if Fiat price is too much.

Birth is the name of the manufacturer, as shown in portland bills' 2nd picture. They make a lot of OEM parts for Italian cars. The part itself is the top spring seat. I think you'll struggle to get them anywhere other than a Fiat dealer, but it may be worth emailing the part number to Shop4Parts and our friends in Lithuania (Rytis is a member of this forum). I think I can even remember seeing the spring seats listed on his website.

I was begining to think I was going mad LOL..Thanks for the info I can now ring a few places tomorrow.Hopefully get it all back together and back on the road..Actually miss it

Can't figure out how to copy/paste links on my phone. Go to manodalys.lt website (yes, I know it sounds dodgy going to a Lithuanian car parts dealer, but stick with it!) and put 1527330005 in the search box. To be doubly sure, also send him the Fiat part number. If you type Multipla in the search box it's the first item to come up. Price shown is equivalent to something around £1.50 each. Send an email through their enquiry page and they will send you an invoice through PayPal. Postage will be cheap if the total package weight is under 2kg. Have a look at all the other Multipla bushes etc that he sells while you're there. Some are very good value.

Alternatively, do a member search for Rytiss on this forum - he's the owner of Manodalys. Send him a PM with the part number you're after and he'll sort the rest.

Well super fast delivery of the spring seats ..A big thanks to all and especially to Manodalys now I can reassemble the front suspension fingers crossed it sits higher ..

Let know how you get on fitting these.
I have a harder than I'd like front suspension and these could be the culprit. :)
Haven't been in the site in a while.
Great to see Rytis is still serving you all we
Marty.

Just an update all parts now fitted and she sits lovely..My drive has a drop each side and was always a no no as far as this car was concerned...I accidently came off the drive but no problems ..Drives tighter now and any bumps in the road are dealt with no problems at all..Off today to get the tracking done well pleased

Thanks for update....always good to hear :)
So definitely a smoother ride??

I was never too concerned about my front end being hard...until i did the rear subframe mounts.now the front is a little harder than id like!!

Might be puttin these on the shopping list!!
Marty

2 new springs off a member on here the top mounts were £45 through a mate in the trade and the rubber cushions from Rytiss on here who is a pleasure to deal with and super quick in delivery..Mate charged me £20 to change the springs..Its very responsive and seems lighter on the steering..Oh and £19 for the bearings..Once everything was stripped out I dont think I needed new springs as the ones on the motor were as new so Ive kept them ..Think there was a little give in the mounts and new bearings and rubber cushions cured the problem

Yes still not got round to the tracking..Whilst underneath there is some welding to be done ,Not to worry as Ive got to teach the lad to mig .so he can have a go under neath LOL
