Multipla jtd 110 altinator fault

Hi. Had a problem with the warning light for battery charge fault light coming on. it happened out of the blue one day, the battery did'nt charge went flat so charged it up and it went fine no fault light seemed to be fixed , then it happened again today any ideas please.

There are two connections to the alternator. Clean them both up, smear with vaseline, re-connect.
