1.3 Multijet JTD Diesel Oil Filter paper element removal from filter housing

There are different types of filter on this engine, this is the one on mine it takes quite a
bit of force to get it out of the housing and works better if you turn it as you pull, dont
be surprised if you break it as the plastic hardens with age and heat, below are links to
this filter and housing but make sure it's the same as fitted to your car.

Just a heads up on the plastic filter caps in the above video,
just fitted a brand new one and it had a tiny leak from the top
were the socket fits to tighten it, could not see anything but
it did leak, so once you have it on tight and oil in before you fit
the metal guard, run the engine for a min or two and look carefully
for any leaks.
