Hey guys, I have a friend with a 2006 Fiat Sunliner motor home, it has the 2.8L JTD Diesel with a automatic/manual transmission.
It is throwing codes such as;
P0101
P1711
P1718
It has been diagnosed by Fiat to have a faulty transmission and was replaced, ($10,000) later and and hour down the road, all codes and transmission issues came back. The business didn't want to own up or have anything to do with it after this.
It randomly goes into limp mode, sometimes 10 seconds from starting or sometimes an hour after, once it is turned off and back on, it is usually fine. It is not consistent with bumps or temperatures and happens different times every time it is run.
Just curious if anyone has had this issue, being it is a temp sensor, air flow meter and transmission issues, I was hoping it was a faulty sensor ground circuit and I could pin it out.
Would anyone have a wiring schematic for the whole ecu and transmission circuit?
and or shead some light on this please.
