Just picked up a cheap 2000 Multipla 1.9 JTD.
As bought, it will start and run for about 3-5 seconds, very noisily (like diesel knock).
It's already had the fuel pressure regulator replaced before I bought it.
I unplugged the fuel pressure sensor, and now it drives OK, but idles very very badly. But it now DOES stay running.
I have another fuel pressure sensor identical to it from a Laguna 1.9 DCi, having just done a head on one of those - and swapped it, but it goes back to the same as before once I change it and plug it back in.
Any ideas folks?
