If you've got an Mjet then I wouldn't bother with a high flow cat...

Instead get the company to make a decat pipe, it's a diesel so doesn't need or benefit from a cat.. Also remember that there are two ;)

One thing to note though is, that there is a law that to pass the MOT if a car left the factory with a cat it has to have one to pass an MOT

sneaky little ****ers i know lol

There is indeed... I haven't yet found a garage that has failed a car because of it though!

Out of my last 9 cars only 1 had a cat. Out of those 9, 6 were suppose to have them - yet they've all passed with flying colours :slayer:

Only one of them was a diesel too! :p

Just beware of the shear amount of smoke a heavily mapped decatted diesel will produce.

There was a fella I knew with a Furby vRS with hybrid turbo, de-cat, bigger injectors, FMIC, custom intake etc etc and it absolutely plowed out smoke when using anything more than light throttle! It was running 260bhp and 480pbs ft torque at the end :slayer:

I had a fabia VRS heavily modded an now hav a GP 1.9 seems my GF could not handle the VRS and rolled it (n) The VRS kicks out alot more smoke than a GP will. i have my GP DECATTED and the DPF removed. cut a flap out of the underside of the air box for a better flow. It runs load better and still no smoke. Smoke is unburnt fuel normally due to the lack of air to mix with the fuel so always make sure you improve the intake if you improve the outtake :)
