Hi I recently had reason to remove the drivers seat. I sorted out that issue, but I foolishly neglected to disconnect the battery. So now I have the airbag light on. My car is 2005 so has the OBD2 socket under the driver's seat. So I bought an OBD2 cable with usb to connect to my laptop, got the red extension plug to access the airbag system. Downloaded Multicuescan (free version) and plugged it all in. For some reason I can't get Multicuescan to detect the car. Maybe I'm just being thick, but can anyone please post the connection procedure so I can move on? Thanks in anticipation.

See my post here, especially the middle bit regarding laptop:

The first thing I started to check is if there isn't an colour adapter needed to connect to the airbag module. According to https://www.multiecuscan.net/VehicleSupportCheck.aspx:

So, the question is, what kind of cable are you using?
