of course they are wrong to post negative feedback if they got refunded, they are the type of people who ruin ebay.
A company takes the time to list a product or service... (they should then put this item or service on a shelf / virtual shelf)
you pay
they pick the item off the shelf and send it to you........ result...
More and more companies/ traders are listing stuff they dont have on their shelf and playing the Order direct from supplier which is great...........................................................
Until the supplier cant supply due to some retailer ordering their entire stock of product X....
You then play the waiting game... and the item might eventually turn up on a slow boat from china in a container or not at all...
In the mean time your keeping your eye out for the postman or whoever is fetching it your money has been taken and you cant go else where....
where as if it was showing NOT in stock you could have gone else where in the first intance ....
I ordered a Fridge on line before Christmas which was "in stock" Imediate dispatch by 24 hour courier :slayer: .....
It took 4 weeks of emails. Given excuse after excuse to sort it and dragging up the 28 days period rulings and the threat of doing a reverse charge on my credit card someone suddenly "found it in the warehouse" and it came the next day....
Yet for £5 more i could have used another supplier and probably got it in the timescale they listed as they had 5 of them on the shelf....... And saved been without a fridge for 4 weeks and the hassle of arranging redelivery when it finally turned up as no one was in (mum and sister were both off on holiday the week i ordered it)
I see no reason why i should have to ask for a refund for a product someone is unable to supply they should not take the money in the first place.......
