Anyone who has followed my threads about my MPi seicento, know that I,m now very happy with the car and its performance.

BUT.....

I,ve had the codes cleared on the car and had to pop back to my chum with the reader, coz the engine light came on again.
Only fault that keeps coming up is knock sensor.
I,ve replaced the injectors and that cured that fault and the car is now pulling well in all the gears and is a pleasure to drive.
But the engine light keeps coming on after a day, after clearance and says knock sensor.
So,where is it and are they easy and cheap to replace??

RALPH.

Curse my luck.
It would be somewhere where you need the fingers of an alien or the car in the air!!

Are they cheap??
Got any scources for a quality part??

RALPH.

I,m not thinking about price right now.

The exact location is the real problem and how to get to it without having to pay anyone.

I had a quick look this morning and could,nt see anything on the timing belt end,so I,m assuming its closer to the gearbox end,so,should I go in thru the wheel well or get it up and attack it from underneath.

It would,nt surprise me if its actually unplugged!!

After giving it to the "experts" before Christmas, the engine light has been on and off since they messed it up.
That would be the ideal scenario anyways.

I,ve got a new one coming and I,m going to put the car on axle stands today and wait for it to turn up.
Of course,I,ve wasted my money if I find out it was simply not plugged in after "the experts" took the engine out to change a clutch....I **** you not!!

I,ll sell it on once its 100%.
I never sell a dodgy car.
I,m a glutton for punishment tho coz I want a Punto HGT or Sporting.
A HGT that has the funky blue or yellow, side skirts and alloys would be nice.

I,ll get it sorted coz I,m a bloody minded SOB :)
