Ive got a JVC KDG611, it plays MP3 and WMA, but the question is, can I put both formats on the same cd and itll play them? or do I have to make a MP3 cd and a WMA cd seperately?

That unit automatically detects the file type mate....

Just write the disc as a normal data cd with the files on and the unit will just play them

I've got that HU too mate! (y)

And yes you can put them both on the same disc, just make a data CD and you should be fine :)

I've never done both on a disc, Nero doesn't list MP3 and WMA as an option but the data idea could well be fine too, all I would expect was the HU reading the CD for longer than usual.

If still in doubt consult the manual but since CD's are 9p just burn and see, no harm done.

I use Easy CD Creator, and I make data CD's all the time for my HU. As long as you make sure the file system for the disc is Joliet it should be fine. I've just been copying all my music from my old PC to this one and all the data CD's (containing both WMA's and MP3's) I've used to copy the music I have got in my car and they all work perfectly!
