Okay, maybe I'm thick, but I can't find anywhere to connect an mp3 player to the CD Radio in my 2015 Panda Easy. It clearly states on the Fiat website that these radios have MP3 player connection somewhere, but I can't find any clue as to how to connect one in the owners manual and the salesman didn't know either. Am I missing something, or is it me?

Does it say that it has a USB connection or just that it's capable of playing mp3s? From past experience the latter can mean that if you burn a load of songs to a CD it can play them from that as opposed to being able to connect an actual MP3 player. Hopefully someone with an easy will be along soon and clear things up.

Take it easy,
M

I have a 2012 Easy, albeit with the optional Blue&Me (Bluetooth, USB, and Aux In) pack. This adds a USB socket with sliding cover and 3.5 mm plug on the centre console adjacent to the hand brake and cup holders.

This is not a standard feature on the Easy; a quick look at the Fiat.co.uk configurator suggests it's currently a £265 factory option.

I'm afraid that if you didn't specify it with your order, it's unlikely to be something that can be retro-fitted by a dealer.

Okay, well maybe I've misunderstood the information. I tried playing a cd with MP3 tracks I've burned with my computer and that plays fine in the car, so maybe that's what is meant by MP3 player. That's fine anyway, still happy with the car. Might want to fit a DAB radio sometime but that's something for the future. Thanks for your help with my confusion!

Ordered one.....where did you route the wire to? down the drivers foot side and along to the dash? what do you use to stop it getting in the way when not plugged in? any pics.....looking to fit it this weekend. thanks

I got an FM transmitter from ebay, plug it in the cig lighter and play my usb storage direct to the stereo. Only cost £7 give or take
