Yes. I press that button and it comes up with Aux.

I have 2013 panda pop, I have viewed the wiring diagram on the back of the head unit (also continental make) and connected the aux in section to 3.5mm jack lead. The issue I have is that there is no way of getting to the aux function, I press 'media' and it just says no source available. Also the wirin shows the aux in on the yellow section of the mini ISO connector, not blue as the eBay item shows as posted above? Anyone got any ideas?

Ok. You have to fit the lead with the ignition Off and don't put the key in to be safe. The lead plugs into the far right connection as you look at the back of the head unit. After you have plugged in, switch on ignition, press media and it will come up auxiliary.

Done mine today spot on cheers, I got the cable from the link you sent.

I'm having difficulty releasing the head unit,i tried with a couple of small screwdrivers in the holes but it didn't budge. What's the knack?:)

Don't be a tight git! Buy the keys in mentioned for £5 and it will immediately release lol......

Hi, I'm looking to fit an aux lead to my radio and I emailed the eBay seller to find out if it was suitable for my radio before ordering one. He replied that because it said "no source available" when I pressed the media button then it was not possible to add an aux input.

Can anyone confirm whether this is correct or was he talking out of his hole?. My radio is a Continental, picture of label attached.

Thanks, Boris

Boris. The reason it days no source available is that there is no lead connected. The lead must be connected with the power to the head unit off and the ignition off. The lead work fine.

My lead arrived this morning. I fitted it with the ignition off as suggested by Bigredbuss4468 and it works great. The display now shows "Aux" when the Media button is pressed.

Have you fitted the connector properly? It is only half the size of the socket on the head unit, and should plug into the right hand side looking at it from the rear of the unit.

Hi, thanks for the advice, still doesn't work?!

I am fitting the connector into the far right hand side of the socket, as you pull the radio out and face it.

The car is a year old in December, so is the radio slightly different?! It is a lounge and piano black stereo. Have they removed the function?

Noticed I ordered the cable with the yellow connector, should I have bought the blue one (as in link?)

Thanks
Oli

I ordered the blue one. If the connector shells are the same size and shape then perhaps it just a case of moving the pins to the correct position to match the blue connector.

Thanks guys, managed to move the pins still doesn't work though. The guy did me the blue one slightly cheaper, good on him as was my mistake.

Thanks for your help and advice.
Cheers
Oli
