Hi all, i have a 99' bravo 80sx, and i'm trying to connect a portable mp3 cd player to the unit, it work with the cassette adapter, but will someone give some ideas on how to connect directly to the CD changer plug.

an answer:

If you have the money go to the website below and buy a Kenwood MP6090R head unit - this will play MP3 cds recorded on the PC and is v.good quality sound too. you will also need a facia adapter and will need to change to a kenwood cd changer if you are replacing the grundig one.

fitting a portable mp3 player / fm-modulator

Try fitting a FM Modulator.
The signal from the line-out will be converted to a FM-signal that can be received with the standard radio.

but off course there wil be others.

When you have a mp3 player with remote control you can put the player out off sight in the glove box and still change the tracks.
