Mounted police charging London students.

Mounted police charging London students.

that did seem a little harsh.
that's no way of dealing with crap.
wouldn't it have been easier to wait till 7?
regardless of organised or not
especcialy with that woman to start with

We don't really know for sure that they were 'charging the crowd' from that footage....

tbh I don't really have a lot of sympathy for a crowd that allows itself to be populated by masked-up people spoiling for a fight....

Why is it that the same 'anti establishment' mob seems to be present at every gathering these days....

I think the majority of them are protesting just to be anti-establishment, not for reduced tuition fees since students are inherently selfish and it isn't going to affect any of the current students anyway.

At the same time -- while I sympathise with the officers there -- with the police powers these days, you'd think we had marshal law. An officer did a presentation a week ago at a school, and said to the students that if they see you driving around (as in doing laps) or if a resident makes a complaint we can issue you with a form (effectively a caution) against your vehicle. If it happens again within 12 months, we can seize the vehicle, and have it crushed.

costing us (the taxpayer) for the policing & the rioting/looting si I say bring the army in with water cannons and blast them. The cold will soon make them go home for some lentil soup.
How are you a tax payer you recon your location is Moscow, and not all students are the typical lentil eating time wasters my son relies on his EMA so he can carry on doing his electricians course so he can get a job hopefully when he passes and not be a lazy scounger, if they take the EMA away he is not going to be able to continue so no job then people like you will be saying oh another lazy teenager poncing off us tax payers, which still confuses me as you live in Moscow

With what....Having to contribute to the system rather than be bottle-fed by it....?

Exactly. If half these losers went out and got jobs to contribute to society instead of causing bother and draining resources from society, then we wouldn't be in such dire straights as we are.

So end of the day it's actually the protestors fault. The country is in the state it's in. Maybe if they took responsibility rather than blaming everyone else for their problems this would be a better place.
Bunch of lazy losers.

as olgit said.

the goverment will make the money it has invested in university fees back.

OK I'll take back the comment about lazy and I apologize
but the comment about the rioting/looting my son is NO looter or rioter and he don't eat lentils either:) he is just a teenager worried about his future and so are his classmates and some of the knob heads at these demos are giving genuine students a bad name.

P.S sorry I was never good at geography at school never knew a Moscow in Scotland :)

ive got two jobs fitted in around my full time course at uni. in uni 9-5 working every night aswell as a weekend job leaves no time for studying. im not on benifits so im not 'dragging the country down' but there is no way in hell i could fine a SPARE 10k a year for a uni degree.

tories are just putting the poor down. if im putting this much effort into just surviving and trying to get a degree WHY should i not be allowed due to money. i see rich boys sit on there lazy arses and do sweet f for something that they will never use. EVERYONE should have the right to education.

also the police are harsh but everyone please remember what its like to be them in that situation aswell. they have to stick precisly as to what there told on the radio or there own lives could be at risk.... without coppers were would we be? honestly

Give free degrees away like smarties and they will be worth less than a tube of smarties.
I worked my way through college as did many others. You want it you get it. Your further education isn't my responsability so why should I pay for it?

Rob a bank or business of around £100,000k, hide half of it and expect to get caught with the remainder. Say your imaginary acomplice has fled the country with other half.

Get caught and go to jail for 4 years, complete a degree (at no cost plus free tv,food, accomodation etc) then come out and get a decent job on the back of your degree(s) and live a better life than an honest and respectful person and use the hidden 50k for your retirement.

Why didn't I think of that earlier:bang:

I want to go back to Uni but can't afford to. So personally, I think it'd be great to see tuition fees scrapped.

I don't think the smarties analogy is true, since University places would go back to being awarded on the basis of your academic achievements, as opposed to having rich family or getting into masses of debt.
