Yep, its that time of year again, the tax renewal came through the door, which instinctively sent me looking for the mot. It was close cos it ran out today ! So its been one mad dash since wednesday.. new front tyres were needed, I was lucky enough to get a pair of yokohamas from ebay, then once they had arrived I needed them fitted. Today off for mot, at my local BT garage, sailed through again and only 37.50. Thats me legal for another year ! complete with the biggest mot certificate ever..ps does anyone know what the little peeloff in the bottom left hand corner is for ?
You will have driven it for 6 months I suppose if you treat it right and look after it there will be no reason for failure. Ive passed 2 MOT'S in the squitch with no work needing doing, although im not holding much hope this year
Not sure if it's urban myth or not but I heard that cars not displaying the MOT sticker are liable to be stopped once, or until?, the new MOT system is fully operational.
It will make things easier for the police to see at a glance, won't it ? I was also told the same, that approx 1 year after the new mots have been issued this will be how they check 1st. Now lets have a similar sticky for the insurance.....
