Interesting when it's being compared to the likes of range rovers with their poor environmental image, or Porsches with their prestige label in a suffering market.

Also what's interesting about this article is that the fiat punto also appears in the top ten ! And fiat is the 6th brand over all to be a target of vandalism,

I always figured the big 'gas guzzlers' and the cars like Porsche BMW and mini, would be more targeted. Seems very strange to me that this little Italian sensible priced, low pollution, efficient brand would be the target of this sort of crime. I always thought fiats were fairly low key and people wouldn't take much notice?

no idea how they think any of these stats are at all accurate, its more a case of which car owners actually report the vandalism, if my car got damaged, i wouldnt tell anyone, just get it fixed, id imagine most fiat 500 owners report the damage.

my bravo was vandalised last year, along with 6/7 other cars on the street. it was keyed but it was a total of £1500 to repair. I reported it to police and claimed on insurance. if it was our 306 I would have reported to police but not claimed, just left it with it's new speed stripes.

Maybe it's because you tend not to see too many of these other vehicles parked in areas where a car might be likely to get vandalised?
