More power from my bravo

I've got a 1.2 X reg bravo and i'm wanting to get more power. I think the only way i'm gonna be able to do this is an engine swap, does anybody know what how big i can go with the size of the bulckhead in mind.

I have been told to sell and get a new bravo but I love this one.

Hey mate,
I should swap it if i were you. If you swap the engine the cars brakes, etc.. won't handle it as well as getting an 1.8 of 2.0. A mate of mine is in the ambalence service and he should me a pic of a lad who crashed his standard 1.2 nova with a 2.0 engine in. The cars braking counld,nt handle the power - He died!

2L 16v turbo forma the early foat coupes is the biggest engine that will go in to your engine bay but like Al says you got to upgrade every thing else too. Breaks suspension and shocks gear box drive shafts thw whole lot
