Wow Jangcy......great pic's...good info...
When I had my Selecta I was very happy with brakes - they were better than average!
I thing new original master cylinder + new good quality discs, pads, pipes + rear drums (selecta has got different, but it's just other type I think, not size, maybe from CC/SC) and servo (power brake) will stop Panda with 1242 easy!
I'm going to keep original Panda's brake in my 1242 16V project...
I'm not sure about vent disc...can you ft them with original brakes system or need to change everything?
Is the disc drilled? This does increase the chance of a crack a lot. Tarox are now what we call Red Dot racing I believe.
That racing panda above is curious. Those spacers made me spit my tea out!
Dufty01 and I have gone for EBC grooved and drilled discs with pads to suit for our 1242cc 16v parade. The label on the box said they were rear discs from an Lancia Delta Integrale but will fit Uno and Panda also.![]()
Cool, lancia delta brakes. Are they expensive? I'm looking at around £80 for the black diamond ones which are just grooved. I was going to avoid the drilled brakes though as I am not sure if they are necessary and want to play on the safe side and have a stronger disc.

Worth a look at OMP as they make groved and drilled discs with fast road pads that are a direct replacement for standard panda/y10. I have them on my y10 but not been out on the road with them yet.
They are the same fitment as delta rear disc and also some alfas
Thnks for the tip off! I will look into them. Although I was looking to avoid drilled, but if the price is right! Were they less than £80 for the OMP discs?

I'm sure i read somewhere that if you swap to braided hoses the brakes need will feel spngier, stretch in the braid i guess. Have a search those who are interested. Sure it was one of the cento lot.
