So as we know times are hard! And I don't have much to spend I just wanted ideas and suggestions on how to inprove the interior and exterior look of the car with some mods that cost nothing or not a lot at all I've already de-badged and de bump stripe'd it
Thanks

Seriously why the incessant need to 'modify' a car, if you can't afford it don't bother every modification will cost you the same amount again with your insurance company you'll still have an old punto and when you come to sell it, you'll have a car worth less than if you'd left it alone.

If OP wants to modify his car that's his choice wherever you like it or not he brought the car paying the insurance and so on, and your wrong about modifications you can modify a car on a budget without making a pigs sty out of the car. And for that picture is just going overboard

Anyway that's my rant finished :)

Now to the OP if your budget is not too low and say reasonable budget then you can C/C the wing mirrors (very easy to do with time and patiences, there's a guide on here how to do it!) maybe get some vinyl stickers to make your car stand out from the rest, amazon is your best bet for this stickers on there are very cheap!

Now for interior, again depending on the budget if you have the bog standard steering wheel you could get the Sporting/HGT steering wheel and fit it in, I did this with my MK2 and it definitely a nice touch. Also you could do some C/C inside the car for example center console and stereo fascia and a few other plastics inside the car, all of this would make a nice touch to the car and of course make you feel more at home when driving it cause you've personalized it to your liking :)

Hope that helps!

Hi Matty welcome to the forum, I modified my punto on a budget, you can debadge and de strip the panels, also the vinyl on the door pillas as underneath is color coaded :)

If you look around on eBay for modified breaking or just breaking cars you might get a decent set of alloys for cheap :)
I was lucky as I knew a mate who was breaking a modified punto (Hammond) and bought he's custom backbox and alloys for cheap and also got myself a. GSR and de-cat for cheap and also some angel eyes and I loved it after, cost me not to much all together :)

DE-cat now is an Instant MOT failure
You MUST have a CAT

The Best modifications are the Maintaince modifications
So get the car serviced - get it undersealed - get it clean and polished up
Because a well looked after car looks 10x better then a modded car done cheap and running **** because of no money

Thanks for your reply's I'm trying just to tastefully change bits to make the car look a bit smarter sportier! The one thing I am willing to spend on it the alloys, hoping to find some decent sporting ones, the car it's self is a active sport so the interior is pretty top of the range, and I'm open to all suggestions good or bad
Thanks

If its an active sport then it should already have alloys?

Also anything with 'active' in the title has the low spec interior

Well it doesn't have alloys, and it has the sports interior Seat, steering wheel, CD player ?

Active Sports come with Alloys
Leather Steering wheel and gear knob
Black dash
And a choice of semi hugging Grey/Black seats or Blue/Black Seats with matching door cards :)
CD player (but its basic CD player at that)
Fogs
No subwoofer tho :(
No decent Spare (Stupid space saver)
But you get the sporting Bumpers (hell yes!)
No Skirts (thank god!)

It defiantly is a active sport but why hasn't it got alloys? It's got everything else even the sub in the boot , and the grey/black interior which I like ;)

The active sport should come with these wheels

However from having a look about not all of them have alloys so maybe there was a budget/cheaper option without them. So can't condemn for fitting a set of oem wheels

However I stand by my original statement aftermarket mods reduce the value cost you to buy and on your insurance and often do little to improve the looks, those that do are often expensive body mods.

No one keeps there first car for more than a couple of years then they want something with more power or panache so save your money for this

No harm in doing a bit of personalising though, I agree with the statement no one keeps their first I didn't it was scrapped within 8 months due to a massive MOT fail 26 faults..............could say I ran that car into the ground :D

But everyone has their own opinion on modifications, so each to their own :)
