There is a dent on the rear drivers quarter panel on my Cento that iam not sure i can spray and blend in using a spray tin,its only about the size of 1p pence and there's no paint damage but its on a bend beside the boot lid and it can't be pushed out from the inside as you can't get access to it.
Cheers Don

Don I might be able to pull the dent out.
I have a dent puller/ glass carrying handle.
Get the pad wet, press against car, close handle & pull & POP out comes the dent...
Used it on the Sei, had a big dent on the passenger door, pulled it out in seconds.
I'll bring it to Hopetoun.

Yeah definitely bring it to hopetoun, if its suitable to do it there you can try my arch, the dents should pop out, i cant feel much damage from the inside. If not we can arrange a fix it meet or something haha.

Been trying to find a blue led interior bulb, due to it coming on when car is unlocked - will be ebaying due to hellfrauds wanting 8 - 9 quid for a flipping bulb that will most likely be very dim. But my next job is getting my fscotland sticker on sunday off martyn if he brings any, representinnn' :)

Okay... I was just fiddling around cleaning inside the car and i put my hand up the recess between the bottom of the plastic connecting the latch for moving the steering wheel up and down, and i felt a key... Yes. A car key. I managed to get it out, feeling that it was connected to a large plastic ring to wedge it in there - and a cable. I was abit bemused until i removed the key from the ducttape holding it to the cable, and when trying to start the car - it wouldn't start. And to my surprise as soon as i put the key back stuck to the cable it worked. Now i know the barrel had been removed due to a key being snapped off inside it - but how does this work?... It was a spare key so i presume it connects the new barrel to the chip inside the old key?... Anyone seen this before? Lol

yeah, the key is a remote transponder :) the locks and ignition barrel clearly aren't the original, so rather than change the code box and ecu over aswell, the person who changed them has just located the key on the code box to permanantley disable the immobiliser.

on the bad side, it means your car is never immobilised.

tell your insurance you do not have a immobalizer... a mate of mine got his car stolen after a conversion and he had the old key taped to the transponder and when recovered he was not covered for any damages as technically to start the car you only need to connect two wires togeather at the end of the barrel.....

OR. take your found key to timpsons with your new key (mark them up) and ask them to cut a new one with the old code in it. that way it will fit the new barrel but work with the old code. you will then need to put the black ring back on the barrel so when the key is in it reads it... that way will cost you £25ish and you will have a functioning immobilizer again.

Bit of a bump into another car today, just out of a car wash, and i was feeling all good then missjudged stopping at a roundabout and tapped another car... With my luck it cant just be some nice person who i would proceed to offer em 20 quid for the hasstle and to say nothing of it ( as there was literally 0 damage to their plastic back bumper ) but no it was a company car so they have to take details etc it seems. I do hope this stupid mistake doesnt come back to bite me in the arse, insurance at my age is expensive as it is...

That is going to sting, when your insurance renwal comes through.
Sorry to hear that Ryan.
I'm dreading my renwal price, after what happened after the Hangover Meet back in Janurary
