Im back from london on tuesday and getting my insurance through on wednesday so ill be wasting a LOT of petrol that night ;) ill get some pics!

I am. Ive learned to not wellie a punto, taking it easy... CRUIIISING! haha

Sub and amp fitted today. Sounding great. Got myself a set of Kenwood rear speakers also - clear sound and complements the bass. Next up will be wind deflectors / custom console from Brad and if I've got the cash and the JBL GTO's fit that he's selling I'll be investing in them as well. Car is driving like a dream, and it's had a lot of attention. ALL IS GOOD

I was eyeing up some Vibe stuff Brad you'll be happy to know :p You going to the Stirling meet on the 1st?

You've read my mind Mr Clock. I've been looking at the astra splitter, mk4 I believe. Don't you have one on the Stilo? Saw one on a gold punto near me and it looked ace. I'll definitely be getting one. :)

Thanks Don :) - stuff that mainly need doing is just fixing the dent in the rear arch - sorting out the deep scratch on the passenger side, and the small scratches on the bonnet. Then after that I'm wanting to get it looked at underneath and under the bonnet to just make sure it's all sound - I'm not a technical buff myself and wouldn't know the first thing to look out for but I'm learning as I go along haha.

Ryan. You going to Hopetoun in August?
If you can wait till then, I'll have a look underneath the car for you, or Mark.... Mr god knows how many cars he's had.
To name a few: Mk1 Punto Cabrio, Mk2 Punto HGT, Seicento Sporting (SPI), Cinquecento Sporting (SPI), Vauxhall Calibra, BMW Estate, Ford Mongdeo.
Current fleet: Cinquecento Sporting (very long term project) Honda DelSol SIR (Summer toy when fixed) & a BMW again.

Not a problem,

Bodywork is about one job that i know i hate doing, just done the wheel arches on the Cento which to be honest turned out really well but there are many other scratch dents that i need sorting out,the thing about doing that sort of work is it can take years off the car and making them look much better when showing it at events, but when you have to start paying a middle man its a little expensive so its better if you can learn and take the job on yourself,

Scratch and chips i can smart repair myself using filler if needed primer and a tin of imola blue made up at the paint shop then using some wet and dry and polishing Bobs your uncle,

There is a dent on the rear drivers quarter panel on my Cento that iam not sure i can spray and blend in using a spray tin,its only about the size of 1p pence and there's no paint damage but its on a bend beside the boot lid and it can't be pushed out from the inside as you can't get access to it, so its going to need filling sanding priming and a bit of blending to get it looking good.........keep putting it off though in case i make mess of it.....that said smart repair isn't hard its all about the preparation my friend and with the aid of Google there are many many help guides out there,

Cheers Don
