mk2b aftermarket HU problems :(

Hi FF,

recently got myself an mk2b after owning an mk2 for nearly 2 years.

but ive got a problem with my headunit, worked perfectly in the mk2...

i looked at the black wiring block of the HU and it seems the yellow wire (permanent live) isnt being used, but was being used in the mk2. but when the mk2b is ticking over still no power gets to it so i dont know if the switched live is connecting

do i need to swap a few wires over on the HU wirng block, also does any1 have a mk2b manual to show what pins on the wiring loom do what as i dont have one.

i have a clarion vrx578rusb if that helps?

Probably easier if you posted a half decent pic.

Same thing happened with mine, had to link the red (live) wire with the yellow (ignition feed) wire for it to work.

so much easier to drop a wire down behind and splice into fag lighter then connect, dont have to turn it on or off all automagically
