Technical Mk2 Punto HGT Gear changing - Stiff!!

Pop off cable from item 1. Use spanner between cable and ball joint to pop off.undo nut two under rubber boot.Or undo cables completely and remove unit complete and do .

Linkage were cable is attached slides out.Clean up with emery cloth/paper till it moves easily by hand.

Find the gear linkage under the battery area.this is what siezes up. View attachment 188989
