Technical MK2 engine light flashing

Hello to all,

Today, the engine warning light on the dashboard of my Punto Mk2 1.2 8V, starts flashing every time that engine reach aproximately 3200 RPM (and stops around 2500 RPM) !!! What could be the problem and how to solve it?

get a garage to diagnose it......my car had the engine light comin on and off at random times.....even when the light was off the machine read a fault code......

A lot of forum members scan new posts and I am sure that if one of us had experienced similar problems we would have posted some guidance if fixed or at least empathise if not fixed.

Sounds like you need to see whether any trouble codes have been lodged in the ECU. Either a trip to the garage or check out the guide:
