Where can I get one of these to fit an aftermarket stereo?

I'm after the plastic surround that lets an aftermarket stereo fit into where the standard one has come out.

you dont need 1, its a normal single din hole. i have fitted at least 3 different MK1 stereos (mine twice due to theiving W******) never needed an adaptor....only mk2's

As far as I can tell, the gap left by the standard stereo is bigger than an aftermarket stereo, or am I wrong?

only if youve broken something taking the old one out..
have you got the metal 'cage' in to hold the stereo in place? if you've picked one up second hand or something you may just be missing that bit. if so the head unit will usually still fit but will be really slack and not click into place.
