Hi
When starting my Punto I get a "whirring" sound from the starter motor this has become more frequent, it sounds like its running at half speed, the gear does not make any attempt to engauge into the flywheel
When I retry to start sometimes it works fine and engauges fully and starts, this may work for a few starts and then again I get this whirring sound when trying to start, sometimes it occurs 2/3 times in a row then next try it starts fine.
Theres no nasty grinding sounds when this occurs, when it does start the gear retracts fine as I can hear it, just that its getting more frequent.
