P Paul R Guest May 12, 2004 #3 The engines are exactly the same, it doesnt matter! as far as i know the only engines that changed on the mark 2 was... 1.4----changed to---1.2 2.0-147-changed to---2.0-155 The 1.6 and 1.8 carried over, oh and the diesels change i believe to JTDs!(not sure on that as i dont care about diesels) Paul R

T Tom Guest May 12, 2004 #4 The 1,6 changed in a few ways, the gearbox is different and the ECU is different.

A alan Guest May 13, 2004 #6 teh mk2 2.0 is 155bhp, not the mk2 1.8. The 1.8's were 115bhp. I don't know if there was an difference between the mk1 & mk2 1.8 though so i can't really help you!

P Paul R Guest May 13, 2004 #8 they both have 113bhp....they just badged it as 115 because it looks better then 113, and all the badges are nominals of 5! 80,100,115,155 etc
