Okay now I more-or-less have to have my Punto re-sprayed to look respectable. I was wondering however, how many factory front bumpers styles are there? I'm guessing GT, Sporting & the one I've got (60S) at minimum, but are there anymore? For the understated look I'm working towards the Sporting would be the best bet.

Also anyone know how easy it it to add front fog lights or some auxiliary driving lights?

s- small mouth no foglights
s diesel- widemouth no fogs
sx- small mouth with foglights
sx diesel- widemouth with fogs
sx selecta- wide mouth with fog lights
elx- colour coded small mouth with fogs- larger bump strip
elx 5 door- colour coded wide mouth with fogs- larger bump strip
elx cabrio- "
sporting- colour coded wide mouth with fogs- larger bump strip
gt- colour coded wide mouth with fogs and headlight washer jets- larger bump strips

think thats 90% correct :)

get colour coded wide mouth with fogs- larger bump strip or the gt one :)

buy above bumper and it will have fogs :)

My car is an S model, but it is more of an underpowered sporting... beau is almost right, however there are a few mk1 sportings floating around with the narrow mouth bumper. There's one down the road from me... Broom yellow...

Fitting the foglights is no major deal, the lights have 2 wires, + and -, and if you buy a "RING fast fit wiring kit" it only takes about 30 mins to get them wired in and working. Hardest part is figuring out where to put a switch.

I've got 3 unused dash switches above the heater controls, I was gonna use the switch next to the rear HE lights for that... those would be what my Avatar is :D

sounds nice plans you got going on there,

i was considering GT/Sporting bumpers when ive got the cash (come on september, student loan!) and aving em color coded

i was gonna do all the external modding in one go and then have it all color coded in one go aswell

things such as the spoiler, smoothed boot lid, new bonnet and maybe bumpers, not sure bout the bumpers yet thou, looks alrite as it is, apart from color coding is not dun yet

Basically my idea as well. My Punto is in a right state, I hit a pigeon a while back at high speed, that it did some serious damage to the wing & bonnet, on top of that recently I had the undertaking loony which chipped every panel down to the undercoat on the other side of the car which means I more-or-less have to get a re-spray now :bang:

i brought mine in a little bit of a state, its not tht bad it just needs a lil TLC, like a new bonnet lol

Ah I forgot... Some had the Abarth kit factory fitted so that would count...

there wasnt an abarth model though, it was just an added accessory from the brio catalog.
But the chances of findin' a full intact kit at the scrappy is almost non-existant...

but they are rare as!

you want a widemouth with fogs, a gt one would be nice with the washer jets (makes front end look meaty), but there isn't much reason to be able to find a good used one (most gt's end their life into a lamppost or another car, such as their brakes aren't up to the power on tap).

a widemouth sporting,

make sure its body coloured in the first place, as primered over black ones look nasty and start too peel, no matter HOW good the sprayer says he/she is

Well this is my scrappy list -
Sporting front bumper, Mk2 sporting 6 speed box & final drive cogs from a 75 (yer right this is gonna happen).. all I need now is to work out which rims to get!
