Technical MK1 exhaust versus MK1

I was wondering of an 93 1.6 exhaust can fit on a 91 1.4 model.

sure it will fit
but make sure to check the car version first
if it`s I.E. version, the exhaust will have catalyctic converter and a place for the lambda sensor and of course a flexi-pipe
if it`s CARB version, there wont be a place for the sensor, instead of the catalyctic converter there`s a large mid-silencer and there`s no Flexi-pipe at the front

I mistyped the mk1 part, the one is mk1 and the expansion mk2. (1993
But i will call them for the ie part.
