General mj cold start issue

hi,guys. i am having problems starting my 55 plate panda mj from cold. i have removed the glow plug connectors 1 at a time , and i am not getting any voltage using a 12v tester. :bang: where is the glow plug control unit located ? also is there a fuse or relay in the engine fuse box i need to check or replace. ( haynes manual is no help) cheers, steve.

Glow unit is often mounted on battery tray..
Check power across maxifuse first though

It had a shorted glowplug..
Took out the maxi.fuse

hi, thank you for the info my panda mj does,nt have that type of fused battery connection had a quick look ( in this rain) seems the glow plug controller is under the battery tray.will buy a replacement, see if that sorts it. cheers m8. steve

Check there’s 12v going to the controller

There’s no point changing anything until you have checked feeds and earths
