Hello

Please give us some advice for the problem. My friend's Brava misfire and stall when it is raining, or when you drive over small water pools on the road.

He suspects Knock Sensor as it is below the engine, thinking that it is soaked.

Your opinions?

THANKS

I guess he means the cranks sensor? The knock sensor is up high on the back of the block and if you unplug the knock sensor the car can not tell, i tried it. but obviously it would not detect knock.

Yes he said Knock Sensor. It should be below the engine, am I wrong?
You mean Car stalls if you unplug the Knock Sensor, is it right Adrian?

Thanks
Has all the standard air ducting removed from behind the bonnet?
No, there is no modification on the engine, everything is standard. Air intake pipes are untouched. I hope I got what you said:) Thanks.
Might sound strange but when I goty bravo it had the same problem, it turned out to be the fuel pump wiring that was chaffed and everytime it got a bit wet it started misfiring :what:

Does fuel pump wiring go under the car? I think they go under the footwell carpet. Can you explain this more clearly for me ?Thanks
