What's the best way to remove the side mirror glass without breaking it

Want to fit a set of these:

My instructor had these on his car and they are great for increasing your road awareness

to remove the mirror glass just pull it, pull on the outside of it towards the car. it literally is just clipped in, then it will pivet. thats how you go about changing your mirror caps aswell.
