Removing the mirror caps.

Grab the cap (nearest the car) the larger part and pull towards you...
Simple as that.

There are four parts inside the mirror cap that hold it to the main mirror.

i'm confused!


someone i know said to me that you can pull out the mirror it self first and then remove the plastic cap.

I'm just asking, because i ordered tricolore mirror cap's and want to put them on all by myself.

(if you want to know: we ordered a set of 6 mirror caps and got a nice discount of 40 euro's! each!!!! they come from Italy check out grandepuntoclub.nl for more info!

Hey mate, you dont need to remove the actual mirror the cap is held on by 4 'lugs' so no need to remove the mirror for any screws. Im alright for the caps just had new ones put on thanks.

PS the caps can be abit tight, so take your time when removing them.

maybe it's better to pour some hot water of the caps first (to get them a bit flexible?)

like those m3 mirrors? that would look ****ty and wouldn't fit
