Eye captain ...... Just handed my polling card in we should have a run down of what tools we need so people don't bring two of everything and not bring the one tool that you really need ....... I mean how many times have you gone round your mates to work on his car and end up saying "I got one at home aswell if only I knew I would've brung it"

homeward Thanks for your constant support on this along with everyone else!
I will push up the ante on this and get tools in, along with hiring a van out for myself so i can be mobile to buy myself an engine, i will be fussy with an engine want a good'n!
I will then get all the essentials like timing belt kit, water pump, head set, FIAT thermostat, etc and work hard on the new engine before it goes in, this way we wont be faffing around with new engine, just means times come, old engine out, new engine straight in! This is where my training will come into play

getting tools in would be for my own benefit
for future use, seeing as I'll buy new engine and strip it down, so will need tools for that, as i wanna get things moving now:slayer:

hello everybody i thought its about time i got this thread back on track so below im going to post some google maps links to the several possible different car parks with nice photo opportunities, they are all very close to each other so we could use any or all of them ill post them below.

It is buddy. I work about 2 minutes from the Black Country museum but I would strongly advise not to run any car meets or convoy's through the Black Country area. There's a court injunction on the area enforced by police with a ban for car cruising and car meets.
