Microsoft Surface?

I think it completely kicks the sheet out of the iPad, but whether or not it'll actually succeed is up to the market and with Microsoft's history with hardware (Xbox aside) I suspect it probably won't kick the iPad off its pedestal.

I'm not a huge fan of them. We use some at the college I work at and they're not bad as such for the students we've got who all have learning disabilities, but they don't link in with AD, they don't sync back to somewhere central.......

They're basically just standalone devices which is frustrating when I know the possibilities are far greater if they actually talk to the servers and so on.
