Technical Meta ..alarm system.

Hi.
Anyone know if I can use a meta alarm off another pun to or is it set up to the Bcu.
I've found the siren and sensors
What else is needed for it to work.

I was going to ask over in my hgt thread .. but it appears to have gone.
Has someone had a moan...
Iwasnt selling anything off it in thread so I'm not sure why its been deleted..

cant imagine why it wont work if it works on donar car
batteries are weird in blip though 2 of the blighters but thin things

I've found siren on a bracket in scuttle this says meta as a make..
Found ultra sonics.. other than that there is only on key. Blue fiat key with button.

sorry wont work then
i thought blip with it being mk2
you can use mes to code keys though if you have pass number,dont try remounting eprom chip though from bsi,i failed

I will leave it in the car then.. it will add to the weight when it goes on bridge of weighs on Monday...so nowt lost..

why not take off all meta,bsi,ecu and ignition barrel and key and try sell it on ebay?
start it 99 pence plus reasonable postage if its no good to you

I was going to mate..that was the plan anyway but.
The car has the key code light ..glowing stays on.

Still starts and stays running.. but i wasnt sure whether to put it on eBay in case its a bit moody.
It might have had. Immo off mod.

i couldnt get it to work from another car but i didnt get the sounder and ultrasonics

Tried it,

Result is , Not good,

Warning dont Plug one of these in, You end up with Code light on Dash and Imobiliser Locks out

hi,
iplugged it in, plug is exactly same so ipresumed it wont do no harm to try,

not a single beep out of it ..so ithought id try unlocking /locking adoor and nothing,
took it off and flung it in parts box,

went to try start car and it just turned and turned, key light on dash,
left battery lead off for an hour and tried again and it started up,

so ithink that plug in scuttle ties in with ecu,/bcu, it has links to imob anyway, something ididnt think of
