Message from HGT owner to Boyracers ??

Can i ask a simple question, after reading about some of the cars on here can i just ask, why do people spend thousands of pounds on engine mods to attempt to try and make a 1.4 / 1.6 or even 1.8 Bravo go as fast as a 20v HGT, Why not just buy a HGT ??? I can understand if you wanna spend money on body kits or stereos etc as thats your personal taste but wastin money on trying to make a little engine go faster is crazy. If its tryin to con the insurance then they wanna know about the mods anyway then BANG..STUNG and if you dont tell them then its void so cant win either way ?
Lookin in the Auto Trader this week you can get a nice P reg for as little as 3 grand ?? I havent come accross many cars on the road that will beat mine obviously not inc the 2.0 + Turbo cars so save yourselves some money guys !!

I dont think that anyone on here has spent thousands on there 1.6 or 1.4 engines have they? to be honest apart from Rob D i dont thinkanyones done much more than Induction Kits and exhausts?

Not me... I only just stumbled across this site and to be honest where I live (bradford) I havent seen many other bravos on the roads I see the odd one every now and then.. or maybe its the same one. Errr anyway I love my bravo I've done the induction kit put 17 inch urban racer alloys on twin crome exhaust body kit EBC Green stuff brake pads vented disks got the ports polished thats just the outside inside i got blue neon lights in the foot wells back seats and boot Sat nav and dvd system (witch took alot of re styling)and I'm just changing sound systems so i'll inform you guys of what I decided.. I'm also lucking at a bigger engine or nos or some thing
